Item Title
C-16 Amendments to the Special Policies and Procedures (SP&P) document required by rules and 2010 legislature changes.
Issue/Rationale
Several revisions were required by the Department of Education to the Special Program and Procedures Manual. Summary of the changes attached.
This document outlines the requirements for eligibility and placement in ESE programs in Clay District schools and requires compliance with State and Federal policies. FEFP participation requires this document. Current service cannot be provided without participation.
Recommended Action
Approve amendments as submitted.
Financial Impact
FEFP funding for Special Education is necessary to provide services. There is no other funding sources to replace these funds.
